Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the BAS NETWORK Terms and Conditions page. Here, you'll find important information about the rules and guidelines that apply when you use our services. Please read these terms carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities as a customer. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our customer support team for assistance.

Conditions

  • The connection fee for a new connection will be determined by BAS NETWORK Authority and the connection fee is non-refundable.
  • The customer has to pay the connection fee, monthly bill together while taking the new connection.
  • BAS NETWORK’s monthly bill is counted from the connection started day of every month.
  • Customers have to pay the bill before the connection is activated.

Required Documents

  • The customer shall provide one photocopy of his/her “National Identity Card”.
  • Each user shall provide one copy of a passport-size photograph. In the case of a company, a valid trade license photocopy shall be submitted.
  • In the case of foreign recipients’ customer has to provide a photocopy of his/her passport.
  • For customers under 18 (eighteen), the "Sign Up Form" must be signed by a legal guardian.
  • In case of incomplete or incorrect documents/submission of documents, the User’s Internet connection may be interrupted without any notice.

Regarding Payment of Bills/dues

  • The internet bill for each month must be paid according to every user’s billing cycle. Otherwise, the connection will be closed automatically. The customer can reactivate the closed connection by paying the full bill for that month.
  • In case of disconnection due to an unpaid bill, no discount will be given to the customer.
  • As per the prevailing government rules, the customer must pay the VAT, taxes, etc.
  • BAS NETWORK Authority reserves the right to change (reduce or increase) the bandwidth of the package at any time, any fee changes.
  • Monthly bills should be paid through the online payment gateway or by visiting the office.

Responsibilities of the Customer

  • Customer may not rent or lease its connection to any other person or entity, and Customer may not use any other Customer's connection. In case of exception to this rule, the BAS NETWORK Authority may fine the Customer and the amount of penalty shall be determined by the BAS NETWORK Authority.
  • The customer shall ensure the maintenance and security of his/her computer/device at his/her responsibility. BAS NETWORK Authority will not be responsible for any damage to the customer's computer/device or loss of data.
  • If there is any part/device of BAS NETWORK authority in the Customer's premises, the Customer shall maintain the said part/device and give access to the technicians of BAS NETWORK within its premises.
  • If additional cables are required, they must be purchased at the user's own risk.
  • After leaving the customer's home, no representative of BAS NETWORK will take complaints of theft of personal items or devices under consideration.
  • Any direction made by the government should be followed.

Internet Package Change or Disconnecting Broadband Line

  • A customer can only update packages within a billing cycle, in that case, the retail price of the updated package must should be paid. To reduce the package must complete the monthly billing cycle and renew the package by talking to the helpline before renewing. In that case, no extra charge is applicable.
  • If you want to disconnect the internet connection temporarily or completely in any month, you must inform the BAS NETWORK authority by calling the helpline number one month in advance. Otherwise, the full one-month bill will be payable in case of disconnection without any notice.
  • If you want to disconnect the internet connection temporarily or completely in any month, you must have to inform the BAS NETWORK authority by calling the helpline to collect the given equipment of BAS NETWORK such as ONU, TJ, Patch Cord, Fiber, UTP Cable or any others equipment given by the company.
  • If any connection is closed for more than one month, the connection will be completely disconnected automatically. If you want to reconnect the connection that was disconnected for more than one month, you will have to pay the reconnection fee.
  • If you disconnect any internet connection in the current month, you will have to pay the full month's bill.

Regarding Customer Complaints

  • If there is a problem in using the internet connection or if there is no connection, the customer should immediately inform the BAS NETWORK authority by contacting the helpline number.
  • BAS NETWORK Authority shall not be responsible for any delay in resolving the issue due to late complaints.
  • If there is any opinion or complaint related to support, the customer can contact [email protected] for details by mentioning the User ID, and the Complain.
  • If the internet service is stopped, interrupted, or disconnected due to unforeseen or natural calamities if the customer faces any kind of loss, then the BAS NETWORK Authority will not be responsible in any way and no price discount or compensation will be provided for the loss and inconvenience caused due to the delay in reconnect the service.
  • No Complaints will be taken on any number except the Hotline/Customer Care number.

Regarding Transferring the Connections

  • To change the location of the internet connection, it should be reported to the BAS NETWORK authority by calling the helpline number.
  • In case of transfer of the connection, 5 days prior notice must be given to the authority.
  • The customer shall pay the "Connection Transfer" fee if applicable.

Others

  • The customer cannot use his internet connection to do any wrongful/illegal activities, which are considered to be against the rules and regulations of BAS NETWORK Authority and the Government of Bangladesh. The customer shall bear all responsibility for such work.
  • BAS NETWORK Authority is the sole legal owner of all goods used in Internet connection. BAS NETWORK Authority reserves the right to unlock or return all equipment used for connection after any disconnection.
